CTC Component Analysis

Amazon total compensation includes Base Salary, first/second-year sign-on bonuses, and stocks (RSUs) which vest back-loaded (5%, 15%, 40%, 40% over 4 years). Since RSUs are not paid monthly, monthly in-hand calculations are based on the FIXED CASH components (Base + split cash bonus). Stocks are taxed as perks upon vesting.
